Terms and Conditions

  1. SERVICES PROVIDED BY MASTIGNAC CHAMBRE D’HÔTE SARL IN THE FOLLOWING MASTIGNAC

Mastignac rents out the suites and the gîte listed on the website at the prices and conditions stated on the website. The contract for the rental of the rooms is concluded directly between you (hereinafter the Guest) and Mastignac.

  1. BOOKING

From April to June, only bookings of 3 nights or more are accepted. During the season from July to August bookings for at least one week. A reservation request can be made by telephone, e-mail or online via the Mastignac website. The terms and conditions will only come into effect once the booking documents have been sent and confirmed to the Guest.

  1. INFORMATION ABOUT THE SUITES AND GÎTE

The Mastignac booking website has been compiled with great care, however there may be discrepancies between the text and/or photographs presented on the website and social media platforms and the actual Mastignac situation at the time of the Guest’s visit . No rights can be derived by the guest from such discrepancies. The information about the suites on our website serves to describe them. The agreed rental price for the suites includes all additional costs such as electricity, heating, water, visitor’s tax and breakfast.

Breakfast is not included in the rental price for the gîte.

  1. BED LINEN AND TOWELS

Bed linen and towels are provided for the guest.

  1. INTERNET CONNECTION / TV

Mastignac offers a WLAN internet connection. Operating devices such as mobile phones, laptops/computers or peripherals are not provided.

Each room is equipped with a TV.

  1. WASHING MACHINE / IRONING

Unless otherwise agreed, washing machine and tumble dryer use is not provided.

  1. TERMS OF PAYMENT

Unless otherwise agreed, the guest must pay a deposit. In this case, the guest shall pay the cost of the overnight stay and any other services on arrival in cash or by Maestro, Mastercard, Visa directly in Mastignac. Other methods of payment are not possible.

  1. CANCELLATION

Cancellation by the guest must be made in writing and is possible free of charge up to 15 days before arrival.

Cancellation less than 15 days prior to arrival will incur the following cancellation fees:

14 to 8 days before arrival 30 % of the agreed rental price

7 to 2 days 70 % of the agreed rental price prior to arrival

2 to 0 days100 % of the agreed rental price before arrival.

  1. ARRIVAL

Unless otherwise stated, the guest may use the suite/gîte from 16.00 on the day of arrival. The Guest shall inform Mastignac in good time before arrival of the estimated time of arrival.

  1. USE OF THE PROPERTY

Only the persons named in the contract may be accommodated in the rented room. Other or more persons than those mentioned in the contract may be refused by Mastignac (see also clause 12).

  1. SMOKING IN THE PROPERTY

Smoking is not permitted in the rented suite or gîte. (Ashtrays are provided in the courtyard, smoking on the banisters is not permitted due to the risk of fire).

  1. CHANGES

Please inform Mastignac immediately if you intend to accommodate or invite others or more persons than those mentioned in the contract to the property.

  1. DEPARTURE

Unless otherwise agreed, the room must be vacated by 10.00 a.m. at the latest on the day of departure. The room shall be handed over clean by Mastignac. The guest undertakes to leave the room in the same condition as you found it.

  1. DEFECTS OF THE OBJECT

Any defects must be reported immediately by the guest. Otherwise these damages can be charged to the guest.

  1. CANCELLATION

Mastignac is entitled to terminate the contract with immediate effect and to demand the immediate evacuation and surrender of the room if the guest breaches the duties of care incumbent upon him. Such a case exists in particular if the guest damages the rented property and/or seriously violates the house rules and continues the violation even after a warning.

  1. LIABILITY

Mastignac is liable for the careful maintenance as well as the proper arrangement of the rooms. In all other respects, liability shall be governed by the statutory provisions.

Residence: Noise disturbance in the house and outside areas must be avoided, especially between 22:00 and 07:00. Visitors of guests are not allowed to stay in the accommodation without the permission of Mastignac and without additional payment.

Vehicles must be parked in the designated parking areas.

The accommodation must be kept clean and tidy and left in good time.

A first aid kit and the fire extinguishers are available in case of need. On arrival the guest will be shown where these are located.

Smoking and open fires are not permitted for fire safety reasons.

The bedrooms are suitable for a maximum of two people to stay overnight.

Unfortunately, our dog Marley Mastignac does not want to share with other four-legged friends. Therefore, to our regret, we cannot accept other dogs as guests.

Liability: – Mastignac cannot be held liable for any personal injury arising from a stay in the accommodation and cannot be held liable for any damage, loss or theft of guests’ property. All risks associated with a stay at Mastignac are the responsibility of the guest. – Damage and loss to movable and immovable property belonging to the owner must be reported and reimbursed by the guest to Mastignac without delay. – Mastignac is not liable for disturbances in and around the accommodation, such as disturbances and failures of electricity and water supply and technical installations, construction and/or road works in the vicinity of Mastignac that have not been announced or have not been announced in time.

Data protection: – The personal data transmitted or disclosed will be treated confidentially by the owner(s)/manager(s) and, with the exception of legal obligations, will not be disclosed to third parties.
